Wow, its quite a surprise when I was looking back upon this livejournal to see what I posted, invariably it's incredibly embarassing but I quite like how it reminds you of how you used to be.  Anyway it turns out it's a almost a whole year (gasp) since I last posted here, so I do feel like its time for another entry.

I am currently in the midsts of a long summer holiday which is proving to be fairly fruitless and uneventful aside from smatterings of excitement which holidays and meeting friends provide.  As per usual during a holiday of this length, my body clock is in such a state that going to bed at 4 am and waking at 12pm is now a regular occurence, as this is also not under any alcoholic influence makes it more depressing but it allows me to surf the WHOLE of the internet searching for anything even vaguely interesting and also complete Nintendo 64 games that I have lying around!

School has also finished since I last posted which is nice and strange at the same time, its great to get out of something which everyone so actively dislikes but I did like my time at trinity, although I wouldnt want to spend another year there!  Results come out a week today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It should be ok though, Im banking on this rumour of UCAS working at 12 Midnight on the 16th to tell me whether I have got in to uni or not before I actually collect my results.

I'm actually feeling quite jovial at the moment as I'm off to the Bristol on Friday to see a friend, which should hopefully involve a fair bit of drinking which will be a first down there since I gained my majority!

Back..... and confused [15 Apr 2006|05:29pm]
Well I got back from Florida today and I will make a proper entry about it as CBA at the mo.

But I am really confused with the Reading 2006 tickets. Did they sell out overly quickly, like in a day or so? Has anyone managed to get one? I was kinda hoping I might be able to get one when I got back from Florida, any non-overly priced solutions?

Cheers

P.S Anyone know who got in to the school magazine?

Squiggely Line [22 Jan 2006|04:15pm]

Deducing who squiggely line is

Ok so I am sure you have realised that a certain individual has been posting on many people's Livejournals recently under the alias of ~ line.

So in my infinite wisdom I have decided to collate all the information about this person and see whether we can figure out who he/she is.  They are probably some one we know as they have posted on many of our Live journals.  There is a possibility that it is someone we do not know but they seem to have some knowledge of us and I cannot see a random person posting on everyone's livejournal.

What we know

Squiggely Line seems to have some knowledge of us hinting that they know us in some capacity, personal or from afar.

Writes in a very sarcastic, fairly expansive style with emphasise on receiving a worthy reply.  Examples "That's Cicero for those who don't understand hardcore super speech. I sometimes rock so much i shudder, and by the way, a witty reply or comeback would absolutely make my grey/boring/pointless day, so please, be my guest, pathetic un-deservers"

Likes to emphasise people as being gay or fags

Annoyed by spelling mistakes

Crucially we know that he/she lives or is posting from a computer in Bromley on an Ntl Line.  This is the biggest piece of information we currently have so therefore a lot of people are ruled out from doing it.

Perhaps we can work this out and solve who it is as there is a great deal of curiosity surrounding who it is.   Plus try and think who would want to spend a great deal of time writing these entries.

If you have any ideas please post.

James

Asquith has set the most ridiculous essay for us to do.  It's asking what we learn about Mina from Dracula in basically a chapter of narrative, stupid and infuriating.

What did make me laugh was how the teachers at school have decided to embarass themselves by taking part in the school X-Factor competition

The Rumours Abound

Mr Renwick as Elvis

James Stretton's Mum as a cheeky girl with someone else I have completely forgotten.

The Spice Girls consisting of Marshall (Posh), Faulker (Baby), Barton (Ginger), Wratten (Sporty).  (As you may realised there are no black teachers at trinity so the prospect of Goldsmith being drafted in as Scary is a possibility)

Some people were talking of getting eight of us together to do GLC which would be a laugh if it happened

Well gotta do this silly essay, Bye

Hello!!!!

Christmas was ok I spose, pretty average.  I think the main reason being the lack of any decent films for me to watch.  Although I did purchase Team America and also received Extras season one which has made me laugh a lot.  To be honest Street Fighter should have been one of the centre pieces of the Christmas Schedule but instead they chose Shrek?

I am now doing an incredibly dull essay on why Cicero is crying because he is exiled and no longer has a job.  Its pretty obvious as to why he's sad so its pretty pointless in doing the essay but C'est La Vie. The hardships of being a member of Team Cicero!

Anyway the Arctic Monkeys album has leaked a month before it's scheduled release.  Hope it doesn't effect their sales.

See ya at the party thingy tonight.

Rugby Injuries [26 Nov 2005|04:39pm]

Well today we played rugby against Dartford and lost a resounding 20-0

I also managed to pick up rather a lot of injuries.

I dont appear to have a fifth knuckle on my right hand and also a nice bruise under my eye.

Towards the end of the match I was involved in a ruck.  I dunno what hit me but some sort of limb absolutely whacked my nose and blood went everywhere.  My nose was bleeding a lot and blood literally soaked my shirt and it took ages to stop.  It is now quite swelled up but luckily I dont think its broken.

If i didnt like playing rugby soo much i would be pretty pissed off but its all good really.  Saying that I feel really bad as my nose is stinging but its all goes with playing rugby.

See ya

James

Ok so I just got back from playing rugby away at Lords Wandsworth. And it is quite a story!!!

Ok so we know that its gonna be a long journey because even if we make good time it will take around an hour and 30 mins minimum, so the coach leaves at twelve for a supposed 2.30 kick off.

So we are on the coach not doing much when we notice a pretty bad smell and every running to the back of the coach. The source of this disruption? It was none other than Chris Mumford who threw up on his trousers which was pretty amusing actually. So we thought thats where our amusement would end on this coach journey.

But How wrong we were!!!

We go down a country lane and its blocked up with cars.

Classic Quote

Charlie Adlington: "How can there be traffic on a country road?"
Serge: "Easy, lots of cars go down it"

So we see that the cause of this jam is a full blown car crash which need 2 fire engines, 5 police cars and 2 ambulances. So were not gonna get down there.

So the coach did an amazin 3 point turn in a country lane!!!!!!!!!!

I mean a coach and a country lane just doesnt add but somehow we did it.

So now we are pretty screwed as no one seems to know where to go and it takes us another hour to get there and we loose the other coach.

Finally we actually play some rugby

Final Score Trinity 12 Lords Wandsworth 6
Scorers: Nick Ray try, Ben Murphy try, Dom Chivers conversion

The pitch wasnt great for a start and they decided not to have contested scrums as they didnt have a proper front row. We started off quite defensively and we soon found out the ref was very biased and we werent going to get much joy out of the breakdown with him. First big move was Frankie absolutely pacing it up the pitch and what looked like a certain try until he passed it to Mark and he knocked it on. We then scored from a number 8 move from Nick Ray and we converted that. Wandsworth got a penalty and that ended the first half. We were under a lot of defensive pressure in the second half and conceded another penalty. Ian Horn was also sin binned for ten minutes for stamping on their players face. We then managed out of no where to score a try and finish the match off.

Man of the Match: Frankie Kelleher
Biggest Bosh: Dom Chivers

So we finally got back home at around 7.

The rugby was ok but the journey was a bit of a joke.

I expect lots of support for our next match!!!! Dartford Grammar at home.

Hey I can't sleep at the moment so I thought i would write an entry here.

Well Sams party on wednesday was pretty fun, met new people etc, just a bit of a laugh. And luckily I got my gin back from that thief Phil Knight Lol. Got back from that on Thursday morning about 3.30.

Had a very uninspiring thursday and friday except for going running for rugby training (and some amazing horror movie about killer leeches!). Tomorrow though should be ok as Im gonna go to a football match.

On another note
the other day I made an amazing discovery. Not only is Stallone going to appear in Rocky 6 but has also decided that at 59 he must once again become Rambo in Rambo 4. I have no idea why he thinks he's gonna be able to pull of these roles at 60 odd but good on the bloke.
